Where it began. Long before the camera, there was the kitchen — my mother's stove, the slow alchemy of a sauce, the way a table could hold an entire evening together.
These are my dishes — cooked, plated, and photographed in my own kitchen. Every frame here started as a portrait and ended in my belly.
One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.
